Default Low washer fluid light comes on when I push clutch.

Okay so, On my way home from work today I noticed my low washer fluid light comes on, only when I push the clutch. I got some more washer to top it off to see what happens. When I topped it off the light was doing the same thing

Has anyone ever seen this before?

First Im just going to say I have absolutely no idea why that is doing that, and honestly it's one of the weirder things I've seen.

However, have you checked near the washer fluid reservoir for the sensor and see if it's rubbing at all? If it's being moved then it wouldn't sense the fluid and thus turn the light on. Another thing that could possibly it is there's a short near the sensor or possibly the cluster to cause the light to come on.

I'd start by determining if the source of of the problem is electrical or a mechanical. There's a couple of switches under the dash that are activated by the switch pedal. Try pressing them manually (use a screwdriver or whatever) and see if the washer light comes on. If it does then you've got an electrical fault. If it doesn't then you've got some clutch mechanism / wiring interaction going on.

Question: aftermarket remote start or any other mods that would have touched the wiring?

No aftermarket starter or anything electrical.

So I got in my car this morning and now it doesn't do it.

    Thanks for the help though.
