    Default Question(s) regarding aftermarket rotors/pads for Gen 3 (2014)

    Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone here has done the brake pads / rotors themselves on a Gen 3 using aftermarket parts. I've been trying to save a bit of cash while getting some better quality parts, but Nextmod and MaxBrakes don't have any products available for 2014's and up yet. I have never ordered from rockauto yet, however I find their options a little confusing. I'm really trying to decide on a good quality rotor as well as some good pads for my daily driver. I do a lot of city driving and driving on highway during rush hour. Not sure what type of pads would be best.

MoT quoted the following price for the parts (i didn't mention i was a TM3 member):

    Front Pads C2Y33323ZA - $152.43 set
    Front Rotors C24Y3325XD - $73.55 each
    Rear Pads C2Y32648ZA - $128.85 set
    Rear Rotors C24Y26251C - $60.30 each

Also, should I be looking to get ceramics, semi-metallic, etc?

Thanks for any info / tips.

Edit: BECK/ARNLEY are the rotors and pads I can get from rockauto. If I pick them up in Buffalo It will be about $280 CAD shipped. This seems to be too good to be true. Is BECK/ARNLEY alright quality wise? I go to buffalo regularly so this might be a great option.

Maybe call Max Brakes and ask them when they will have 3rd Gen brakes available.
