I took apart the door lock module to try and figure out why it is not working. See part 1 at the above link.

Here is part 2. I took the round wheel with the teeth on it and moved it so that it would rotate more than the short distance in the 1st video. Once I did that , I was able to make the linkage work. Seems to be fixed but have not tested it with the electronics side. I Don't really want to take my door apart again, since I did buy a new one. Hope this is useful to someone. I did have to pry and slice open the seam of the module to get it apart, but the screws do hold it back together again.
