    Default Custom tune without hpfp

Just ordered a custom tune. I don't have much done with the car, Cobb sri, htp inlet, turbosmart bov and soon to have a cat back. I was just wondering if I run a custom tune without a hpfp I'll screw up the car.

    Just in case... I own a ms3 2012.

Yes I've been told to get hpfp. But Wouldn't they tune it accordingly?

Really not wise to run a modded ms3 without a hpfp. You are significantly increasing the likelihood of blowing the engine.
Why not take the money you are spending on a tune and buy the hpfp?

It's not ideal, you won't make as much power as with it, but if you stay within the limits of the stock fuel pump you can make a bit more power. All of the factory and most OTS tunes are generally a bit rich on fueling anyway, so by leaning out you gain a bit of headroom to make a bit more power.

Although, internals are relatively cheap, so ideally he would get them before going further. It's one of those, if you can't afford them then don't mod situations.
