Default 2012 Mazda 3 drivers window switch weird issue

So the window switch on my driver side for ONLY the passenger front window is not working properly. It will go down but not up. The switch on the passenger front window works both up and down.

I'm guessing the window switch is bad on the drivers side... Thoughts?

I'd say that should like a switch issue.

If you think it's your switch and it needs replaced there may not be any harm in trying to take it apart to see if you can clean the contacts.

Did this in my old Subaru Legacy when I had it. repaired a contact and replaced some of the light bulbs in them when the dealer only wanted to sell me a whole switch assembly.

Thays interesting. It's easy enough to pull out of the car so it's worth a shot. Thanks

Switch is toast most definitely. Had mine go a while back. Easy to replace. You can try cleaning the contacts but doesn't work in all cases.

Where did you get a new switch from? Dealer wants $200 plus tax which is ridiculous

I got one given to me by a friend at first, who has a shop and a couple of Mazda3s sitting around, but that one farked up pretty quickly also. So I didn't feel like screwing around anymore, I just picked up an OEM one from the dealer. It was $160 with the TM3 discount including taxes if I remember correctly.
