Default Rear Sway bar end links

Can you put MS3 rear Sway bar links on regular 3 (second gen)? As far as I read MS3 endlinks have 12mm shafts vs 10mm for MZ3...could I just drill 2mm out of my stock Rsb?

That would probably take a lot of work. The sway bar is a very heavy piece of metal. I do not see a reason to drill them? It's the same style of link. Is there a reason you don't want to replace with the same size?

And of course I'd get tagged. I work on these enough eh @S.F.W.

MS3 endlinks are beefier so that is the reason. How does that work with upgraded Rsb on MZ3, you keep you stock endlinks with smaller shafts or you would need to get ms3 links then?

I've had stock end links on my mz3 with a MS3 rear sway for 9 years. All I did was have some spacers made for them and that took up any slack. They have yet to break. *knock on wood*

I bought moog end links for mazda 3, forgetting that i have jbr sway bar ( ms3 spec). So what i ended up with was some clunking over small bumps since theres a gap.

Sorry for late reply, but the whole point of me changing my end-links that I can't take the clunking anymore....I drove like that for a year and it annoying after a while.

    Either way I installed stock MZ3 end-links.
