Default Rally Armour Mud Flap Install

    Hello,

Recently picked up a pair of rally armour mud flaps for my 2018 Mazda 3.

I'm not overly confident with the drilling piece for the rear mud flaps and wanted to see if anyone was willing to give me a hand.

    Thanks,

    Thanks,

I'm perplexed by the drilling part of the installation.....I just took a look under mine and I can't find anywhere that new holes were drilled.

Not impressed with their instructions - talk about a crappy reference pictures of that part of the install

i dont know how the new gens are but in the gen1 hatches for the rear ones you need to drill the 2 rivets on each side put the screws through

@tehflake @natspriceless I installed some aftermarket mud flaps (looks like OEM) and yes had to drill the plastic part of the wheel well.

If you can open and at least take a peek between the plastic part and the bumper, you'll see 2 mounting points then you can work your way there. you gotta just remove the plastic pins inside the wheelwell and an 8mm/10mm bolt under the bumper i believe

So I was feeling around and I think I had existing holes from the OEM rear kit piece install and thats why I don't remember new holes being needed. Everything looks to be mounted in the same spot

I managed to do this on my own this weekend. Took a lot longer than it should have and a couple of trips to Canadian tire..glad I did this on my own.
