    Default Gen2 Speed3 Reliablity?

Hey guys so im looking into a Mazdaspeed3, Gen2 are pretty hard to find at dealership and atleast at decent dealerships. I found a 2011 Speed3 with 90,000km at mazda dealer selling for $14000. Is that high milege or underpriced for some reason? Wonder if I can can get a extended powertrain warrenty.

What I am worried about is the reliablity of these cars. I know gen1 had turbo and vvt problem. Thats stuff only showed up since Gen1's were around for longer i figured.

Im gonna try to check it out sometime soon. Given im fianacing this one, I dont want to make a commitment I going to regret. I want the car to run at the least 3 years with no major problems, thats gonna be more then enough time for me to pay off the car. By that time the car would most likely have 160,000km and it be 10 years old. My regular Gen1 mazda3 engine broke down around this time. So im alittle skeptical now, but thats not a fair judgement.

What do you all think I should look out for when I take a look at the car. Am i taking a big risk fianiacing a car that might just break down while its being paid off. Do people fiance used cars like this. Or should spent some more money buy a 2013 with slighty fewer kms. Im also looking at a the sicon frs, foucs st. Dont hate me guys, just exploring my option.

Let me know what you guys think.
    Thanks

I just rolled 100000kms on a 2012 and have not spent a dime on anything but brakes and a blown rear shock......but have put thousands in mods LOL. All in all I drive it year round and have been very happy with the reliability of it.

theyre reliable, you just have to take care of it and it will take care of you. my speed is around 120,000 now, 2012 and no major issues yet. alternator went to shit a couple months ago and thats about it. im also FBO and tracked it many times lol.
