Default So umm my key broke. How do I fix/replace this?

It's cracked where it holds the key. I have a spare and this one still works but I'd rather replace it before I need it or if I lose the other key. I know the key part can be removed from the remote part, but is it as simple as getting a new key key blank and replacing it?

To get a new key from the dealer is about 400$ for the fob and the key to be programmed. When this happened to me I just went to Canadian tire and got them to cut me a new one. Some locations now do chip keys and I haven’t had any issues with it.

Buy a replacement fob used on eBay or similar. Then have a dealer cut and insert cut key into fob you bought online.
You can program the key yourself since you have two keys already programmed.

It Looks like you just broke the fob i'd see if you could find one similar and change out the broke fob part.

you can buy the blade portion separate from the remote portion

    example, click it

They should be in the 50$ range at the dealer from what I remember. I don't suggest that ebay link, just using it as an example

Were it me, I'd first try taking the key apart and gluing the broken plastic back together. Use either a plastic specific epoxy or if you can't find that the super glue will hold ok for a spare key. It should continue to work properly provided the plastic part clears the housing

Not sure if you replaced the key yet, but you can buy the blade off of ebay for around $5. You can get the blade cut and replace it yourself.
