Hoping someone may be able to shed some light on a preplexing problem I encountered today, which seems to have at least for now resolved itself.
2018 Mazda 3 Sport GT with premium and tech packages. Bought from Mazda of Toronto (thank you, Jeff!), it is 7 1/2 months old with 5160 km [yes I have a very short commute]. I live in Ottawa, so we are just coming out of a proper winter and it still has its winter tires on it.
It has been raining all day today and is still raining [not sure if that is relevant].
Today coming home from grocery shopping I turned onto my street and my dash suddenly lit up with multiple warning lights. According to the infotainment centre warning light information screen:
DSC malfunction
BSM malfunction
TPMS malfunction
MRCC malfunction
SBS malfunction
DRSS malfunction
SCBS malfunction
For a brief while there was an 8th, but I did not catch what it was.
I pulled into the driveway and parked. Turned the car off and on a few times and they were all still there. Drove around the very short suburban block, still there.
Put car in the garage where it sat for about an hour. Turned car on again. All 7 still there.
Drove around the longer block. 6 disappeared and a NEW one added:
HBC/LAS system malfunction
SCBS malfunction
Turned car off. Turned back on. ALL GONE.
Any suggestions on what could cause this disturbing weirdness ?
Thanks !
