My mechanic found that the inside of one of the rims is bent when he balanced the wheels of a recently purchased vehicle. He put the bent wheel in the rear. After the wheel balance, there is no vibration in the steering wheel. The mechanic says I can drive with the bent rim but wouldn't be able to rotate the wheels because the bent wheel has to stay in the rear. Is it OK to drive with a bent rim? I do not feel anything adverse with the ride.
