Default Noise coming from front passenger - suspension?

So I was driving this morning and noticed that my right front area makes clunking/squeaking sound whenever I hit little bumps.

I got out of the car and pushed down on the right side of the engine right on top of the passenger suspension and it was squeaking. I did the same on the left side and there was no problem.

    Any thoughts? Possible common problems?

Car is 2012 Mazda 3 hatchback on Koni oranges and Eibach prokits.

Possibly control arm, possibly blown shock.

Thanks for the reply. The shock’s only been on for ~10k and was installed brand new.

As much as I want to take it to Jimmy, his shop’s always 1 week booker ahead

I’ll bring it to a shop near home after work.

    Any other input/experience from anyone?

Are the springs new or used?
I snapped a coil on a set of used prokits which made a similar noise.

    +1 control arm/shock.
If its the shock you can make a warranty claim through KONI

The springs were also brand new.

The mounts however were reused from the OEMs that were replaced. Any recommendations on what to replace it with? Trusted aftermarkets or OEM?

Yeah I’ll most likely do that but hoping that’s not the case with the shocks.

    Thanks

Update - Checked the car after work and the strut nut was loose - loose as in I can turn the nut with my fingers.

On that note, anyone know how I can tighten it more while using an Allen key and to what torque specs?
I only tightened with a 19 socket head.

this sounds like the issue I am having.

Left rear (driver side), wheel area/suspension seemed to be creaking during bumps, thought it was just the cold.

Then today, has a I drove through an intersection I hear a loud banging around the wheel, like throwing a wrench into an empty washing machine (that spinning banging sound lol, sounded like something fell off), and then the left rear wheel/suspension got really noisy afterwards/vibrates whenever I hit a slight bump. going to go back and see if I can find anything on the road where I heard it, but might be too dangerous of an intersection. Got the wifey to drive the car when I followed in her car to observe, it seems left side part attached to the wheel is vibrating a lot whenever the car hits a bump.

Shop I want to take it to is on vacation until next week, I should probably avoid driving the Mazda as much as possible? in laws already said I can borrow second car, just need to go pick it up

Any other thoughts? Sorry not to hijack your thread, but thought it was very similar to what you described originally, so didn't want to create another thread.

I have the same suspension set-up as you, I'm also am having this problem when I switched out my struts due to warranty. The top bolt the one in the middle i believe is 70 ft lbs (could be less i cant remember) and the smaller ones the 14s are to be torqued to 22 ft-lbs. I'm going to zap the top bolt later and see if it stops my noises and use locktite if I'm successful. My strut mount is continuously turning as why I cant torque mine down.

Sorry for the super super late reply. Your situation sounds like my other thread where there’s a clunk on the front ends when I hit over a bump on slower speeds. Lots of people and research suggesting it’s due to failing end links.
You mentioned vibration, I wold suspect a lose swaybar bushing as well.

I haven’t gotten around in fixing it or relaxing the end links- just been driving it as normal. I’m planning to do it once the weather warms up.

If all else fails, setup an appointment with Jimmy Performance shop over at Markham. Very nice and honest fella.
