Mazda 3 GT to GX driver seat swap for Lumbar Support

First post. Surprised I couldn't find this specific scenario anywhere.

Is it possible to do a direct driver seat swap from a 2013 Mazda 3 GT to the same year GX just so I can have better lumbar support?

I've looked at various options, and don't want to get a lumbar pillow, and don't want to go to the trouble of inserting a pumpable lumbar device into my seat. I'd really prefer to have the factory look.

So has anyone done this?

Shouldn't be a problem unless the harnesses don't match up because of the heated seats. You need the airbag module to connect. I believe they are on different lines.

why would a GX have better lumbar support when the GT has adjustable lumbar? That doesn't make any sense!

i agree i would like to see the reason or why to change from the gt to a gx.
