Default 2006 Mazda 3 radio volume very low

How’s it going everyone.. hoping to get some ideas or help to fix this lil issue.. my dad had a 2006 Mazda 3 sedan and he got an in dash 6 CD changer radio swapped into it.. problem is the volume has to be cranked to max and even then it’s very low.. had anyone had this issue and figured a work around?

I apologize if there is another thread for this, I looked quickly but didn’t see one, I’d there is I would appreciate the link so I can go read it

    Cheers

did he swap in a bose head unit? what does the part number on the sticker say?
bose head units have NO amplifiers, so it will sound very quiet

regardless, the easiest solution is to just simply swap head units back to the original.... these are modular head units, which means you can take out the CD unit portion and swap it over to your original head unit... swapping the entire head unit is not necessary and in some cases, not compatible because of model year or option differences

He did indeed swap the unit from another car.. he traded it to the other guy cause he was selling it so that unit is gone.. guess I will have to find him a compatible one to replace the 6cd changer lol... thx for reply.. sorry I took so long to answer back.. appreciate the help
