Has anyone had their lock cylinder replaced? Did you do it yourself or get the dealership to do it?
During the last cold snap/snow storm my lock cylinder seized. Thinking it might be frozen I tried putting lubricants into the lock and heating it up but to no avail. I would normally use my remote to lock/unlock but both of my remotes stopped working within 2 weeks of each other, and yes I put in new batteries.
I believe I have smart keys too. Is the dealership the only place that can reprogram them?
