Default Help with 2010 headlight assembly

Hello, I am new to the forum and recently purchased a 2010 Mazda 3 GT hatch for my son. One of the headlights appear to be damaged from the inside. It has a cloudy haze so thought it may be an oxidation issue but I tried to sand the outside and it didn't work. I think my car has HID, I does have a dial on the inside where I can adjust up and down. Question is, can I use the headlight assembly from a car that was equipped with halogen? I guess I would have to replace the projector portion. Or is this too much work and I should just order the proper headlight. Where can I buy locally?

    Thanks in advance.

The assemblies are quite different, I don't think its as easy as swapping the guts (although it would theoretically be possible). I have the 2010 HID with adaptive lights, so there is a lot more going on in there. Your best bet would be to find a used assembly for the HID, or perhaps an aftermarket one on the interwebs.
