I live in downtown Toronto, but my visit to the local Mazda dealership looking for a newer used 3 left me feeling . . . uncomfortable and wary. So I checked the used inventory of every Mazda dealer in the GTA and beyond, called a few (mainly to find out whether the car I was interested in had a full service history available), and ended up driving to Brampton to meet with Sam Hin and look at a car. Sam listened to me carefully, was patient, confidence inspiring, knowledgeable, not in any apparent hurry to make a sale, and did his best to make my experience smooth and painless. Also, while I was outside crawling around the car with a flashlight trying to get a good look at the underside, one of the staff (not sure who, but I assume a mechanic) asked me if I wanted to borrow a jack to get a better look, which I thought was nice of him. I bought the car.
