Looking to buy a 2014-2017 mazda 3 hatch

Looking to trade in my pickup truck for a used 2014-2017 mazda 3 hatch, going to start having a pretty long commute to work, need something more fuel efficient with enough room to throw some tools in the back. Only options I have to have are Bluetooth and reverse cam, preferably automatic so the girlfriend can drive it. Heated seats wpuld be nice for winter time too.

Anyone have suggestions on which dealerships to buy from? My ram is only 3 years old with 99k, fully loaded black sport edition, looking to get as much as I can for the trade in and get a good deal on the mazda 3.

I just picked a 2005 mazda 3 gt going through autotrader.
They also list dealership used cars. But also found that the car listed was usually sold months ago.
Save yourself some time. Send some time going through listings and making sure car is available before visiting.
Re sell your truck privately to get top dollar.

What is your budget? I've seen 2015's from $10 for example, but there are a few with low mileage. If you get a manual, you can save some decent cash. 2015 GS hatches hover around $10k-$16k.

I would start looking at CPO (certified pre-owned), they come with extended warranty and are in a better shape, see cpo.mazda.ca. Private sales are fairly rare, from what I've seen, and you need to be comfortable dealing with the vendor directly.

I'd rather not go through the hassle of tire kickers, plus I need a vehicle as soon as I sell my truck, I only owe 25k on the truck and I've seen models with half the options and less mileage selling for 35k, if I can get close to 30k trade in value I'd be fine with that, will see what they offer me.

Definitely looking to spend under 14k. Has to be cpo for my peace of mind, dont want a private sale/buy. I want to trade my truck and leave with the Mazda.

Keeping this thread alive... There is a 2015 CPO white GS hatch, auto, but with 113k km at Achilles. The price is a bit over the market, but it's CPO. There are lower-mileage ones out there, but not CPO (some are private sales).

What do you guys think about this one? Run away or check it out at least?

What would be a fair price to offer for this one? It's pretty high-mileage (113k), but it's CPO and local. VMR Canada says retail is $12.5k, dealer is asking for $14.3k.
