AC/heater knob bouncing back

Hey guys, I have a 2015 Mazda 3 gs

My AC/heater knob won't go all the way down to AC max,and kinda bouncing back.

This knob problem I had it fixed before at dufferin Mazda under warranty, something to do with cable in the back detached.

And obviously they didn't fix it properly cuz it's happening again, and this time they want money since I'm out of warranty.

I'm not gonna pay them for something they didn't fix properly in the first place.

I called some places and none knows how to fix this problem.

Any mechanic you guys know?

Had the same problem couple of months back and we have the same model lol.. They replaced the air mix link
