Default Question about older winter tires

    Hi all,

Swapped into my winters, started to see these small cracks on the block, tires are actually 7 yrs old, 6/32 thread. Will buy new ones for sure next winter.
In your opinion, is it safe to last thru this winter? or going on highway?

    Thanks

IMO, time to replace the tires as the rubber is at the end of it's life.

You'd also benefit from the added traction.

There are lots of tire rebates on until Dec that you could take advantage of.

Tire shops are probably really busy right now but at least you have something to drive on until then.
