Lucky me. My Mazdas gift is the key is impossible to pull from the ignition cylinder.

Does Mazda rekey the new cylinders to my key? Or do I end up with two different keys?

You need to check with your dealer
But if remember from when had to get a new fob they have the codes for the key and fob if you want oem

Take it to the dealer to program your new key.
