Default Low RPM Cold Start - No Blue Temp light

    Hi there,

My car recently has been starting rough, and would drop right away to 600-700 idle rpm - usually 1500 rpm with the cold start but I don't get the blue temp light anymore.

I previously had CEL for P0111 and P0126 but had to get a new battery so the computer reset - CELs haven't been since (waiting til 100km where I notice my CEL usually comes back on)

I had cleaned the MAF as well as the sensor.

    Any ideas?

Try disconnecting the battery again for 10 minutes or so. Then take it for a nice drive like 1/2 hour see if that clears it up.

Sometimes it doesn't reset properly when the battery is disconnected, as I've experienced this myself.

    Im sure you checked that
P0111 - Faulty Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor or Dirty air filter
Check connections to IAT but more important is the air filter clogged or passage to the air box is obstructed or blocked or air filter hasn't been replaced in a while.
P0126 - either replace the coolant temp sensor or thermostat

I would say do what @Flagrum_3 suggested ... unplugg Bat and reset and lets see what codes show up
and then deal with one at a time.

Thanks boys! I figured it was the engine coolant temperature sensor. So I got one from Rockauto and replaced it myself.

No codes ever since and temp light coming on normally.
