2022 Mazda 3 Sport GT W/Turbo Acceleration Not Constant

The turbo on the car is what came with the car, it's not aftermarket.

I literally just picked this car up brand new yesterday, well petty much brand new. It was test driven twice with a total of 80km on it.

Twice now I have noticed that after driving for a little bit, like maybe 10 minutes, the acceleration of the car isn't the same. For example: From a red light going green, pressing the gas you get a real nice boost (Not flooring it) and you really feel it, but after about 10 minutes (Not every time, this has only happened twice, and the 10 minutes is just a guesstimation), pressing the gas the same amount, you don't get that boost or feeling of acceleration. Not only from stop to go, but even when trying to speed up. It felt sluggish.

Before anyone asks, I was not on a hill.

All of this is also without having it in Sport mode and not using premium fuel. The car is still using the fuel that the dealer filled it up with.

Are you manual shifting the automatic or letting the computer decide?

I have a 2021 CX-30 Turbo (same powertrain and platform) and I haven't experienced anything like this. Performance has been rock solid over the last year+ I've owned it.

Anyway, with someone who has the same car (2021) that is not normal. I have had my car since April 2021 and its always launched once the boost kicks in, whether from a stop or rolling.

I tend to do the opposite though, letting the car warm up a bit, maybe 5 or so minutes of driving before getting up in the revs.

Simply 1st step - is it the car or the driver - If you want to ID or replicate the issue then the test has to be the same every time.
For testing the car - Keep the environment for data collection to remain consistent.
The conditions you test the car: road surface , weather , temp , transmission mode (manual shift your AT or not) sport mode , Type of Fuel (93 Ron)
Tire temperature. Is the ECU up to date (any new re-flash available at dealership?).

Then a place you can take car for un interrupted testing. Safest is a day at the track DDT or Cayuga
I usually go here after work hours on Finchdene Square road in scarborough (similar industrial areas near you)
to practice launching (0-80kph+) and also use it to scrub & bed new brake pads.

You state you just picked it up so...

There is a break in period and a 'computer learning period'.

Give it some time and make sure to put in Premium fuel only for now. Go through a full tank or more before concluding anything.
