Hey all! I’m having trouble deciding/choosing the right tires. I bought aftermarket rims from the dealership they used to sell from Fast wheels. I got them in 2018 & can’t find them anymore so I’m unsure of the specs other than they are 18” the wheels currently on them were taken from my old motegi rims. Yokohama 235/40r18 The dealer plus two other tire shops were surprised i was running that size. But I’ve had zero issues with rubbing, they fit nice and have pretty decent performance although absolute garbage in the rain. So here’s my thoughts…
I really like the low profile look & how they fit these rims. However the 40 does create a slightly larger fender gap that looks a little off. See in attached photos.
Does anyone know if 225/45r18 will cause any rubbing issues? I feel like the 45 will fill the fender gap a little nicer. But at the same time my current wheels look pretty clean..
I’m stock & don’t plan on lowering anytime soon. The dealer said they will price match. I don’t wanna spend more than 1500$(install included)
