Question about rear Sway Bar

I\'m interested in getting the PRogress rear sway bar.. but I have a few questions.

I know it\'ll make the car less prone to roll and have a tighter turn in, but it also induces more oversteer.
My question is, does it affect the corner holding ability positively as well? it seems having a tighther rear setup will mean the car is likely to swing the rear out a lot easier? Does this mean it won\'t hold a corner as well as before?

That couldn\'t be further from the truth. I\'ve had Progress setups on my last car as well as on my current.

Considering the M3 (2.0L, not sure about the 2.3 and hatch models) stock does not come w/ one at all the differences in driving will be night and day.

As far as swinging out the rear end. Unless you went into a turn WAY too hot and know a thing or two or about LFB (left foot braking) and weight transfer then your not gonna swing out the rear.

You will be able to push the car way more in turns but not to that extent.

from factory, the car is designed to understeer when pushed hard. The sway bar just balances this \"imperfection\" (if you want to call it that) and makes the car feel much more stable.

Keep in mind though, as DownShft said, it all depends on how far you push the car. It\'s not something that should dicscourage you from purchasing the bar, if it\'s improved handling you want.

Really? I have a 2.0; I guess I\'ll have to buy a pair of endlinks then?
