    Default Vixxxen / Nat's 2015 GT

“THIS IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND'S RIDE” A backhanded quip to an ex. There is so much more to this story but let’s save that for another day. The main thing to know is that this car represents a fresh start for me after having everything that I had worked so hard for over 10+ years intentionally damaged and stolen, including having my bank account emptied. I never thought I would be in a position to be able to buy a beautiful new car like Vixxxen but sometimes the universe throws you a life preserver and you get another chance at being happy.

Vixxxen is my “Lady of the Night/Mistress” If she was a person, she’d be dressed in leather and fishnets

My motivation to mod my car comes from my love of Hot Wheels as a kid. There is something about cars, motorcycles, 18 wheelers and monster trucks that fascinates me. I could look at them all day and be creatively inspired.

This is what has been done so far…

    Corksport SRI (Installed by Tito/Evolution)
Corksport Lowering Springs (Installed by Jimmy/Street Performance)
    Corksport Hood Struts
    Corksport Strut Bar
OEM Rear Aero Kit (Installed by Achilles Mazda)
CLA Front Lip (courtesy of Nextmod) (Wrapped by Harpreet/Exotik Wrapz)
Ichiba Spacers (15mm) (Installed by Tito/Evolution)
Pink Calipers (Painted by Simply Tire)
    Evil M badges (freehand painted/myself)
    Pink interior accents (wrapped/myself)
    Pink underhood accents (freehand painted/myself)
    Pink trunk & dome lights
    Interior footwell lighting
    Door & mirror visors
    Mazda M002 rims
    35% tints

Picture 1: Vixxxen waiting patiently outside Maple Mazda for me to take her home for the first time (April 11, 2015)

Picture 2: A few weeks later while she was parked in my spot at work, some jerk in a truck backed into her and then tried to take off. Thankfully I saw the whole thing and chased him down before he got away. The repair was a little over $4,000

Picture 3 & 4: I had the pleasure of working with Aitch/Shoot My Car. The rest of the photos from the shoot can be viewed here http://shootmycar.ca/galleries/nat-mz3/

Picture 5: To celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Vixxxen's adoption, she got a small makeover for this season (April 11, 2016)

Nice, everything works together. Just have to move the front plate; it's to close to the emblem imo.

I totally agree! Prior to putting the lip on I hadn’t really considered relocating the plate but it is definitely necessary now. I’m also planning on getting the chrome wrapped so that the front doesn’t look too busy.

Here are a couple photos of her interior....

This represents my loyalty to TM3..."Ride or Die"

I painted the steering wheel emblem as an EvilM to represent my "dark side" The only emblem that I will be leaving as is will be the one on her engine to represent a "good heart on the inside"

The infotainment system is wrapped (although I fudged up a bit) with her name in "Say my name, B***h" humour lol. Also in this pic you can see I have a necklace hanging in the rearview mirror that says "Miss October" This is actually not ego related but is a nod to my other hobby which is my collection of items that are from the original Playboy club (member's pins, original ashtrays, etc.)

Car looks great, exterior and interior. Drastic changes in a short time frame. Only question remaining is what's next/left to mod ?

    Thanks @S.F.W.

Well I'm trying really, really hard not to break my new years resolution of refusing to purchase anything in USD until the dollar gets better, so it will really come down to what I can source locally. Exhaust is on the list as well as I had picked out a printed fabric last year for the headliner but because I wanted to do it myself I'm still holding out until I can get my hands on an additional OEM headliner at a decent price so that I wont be devastated if I screw it up lol. I also have found a wing I really like online and I'm hoping that Nextmod will be able source something similar for me.

Also, depending what the result is of CorkSport testing my rear springs, I may have to just give in add coilovers to the list because the whole being a 4x4 back end is not so sexy lol!

Sigh, I think I need to get a second and third job to keep up with the hobby

Thanks!! I find it's such a fine line between tasteful and overkill when working with a cliché "girly" colour like pink so I'm trying stay in the 90% black 10% pink ratio

With this season quickly coming to an end, I figured it was time to update this tread with what I did this year…

At the beginning of the summer, I swapped out the OEM spoiler for something with a little more pizzazz. The intention was to wrap a portion of it pink but I end up using the wrap I bought elsewhere.

I started to play with Vixxxen’s interior a little bit more by accenting some focal points in pink. What I actually did was buy a bunch of trim pieces online and paint them with my trusty Testors model paint. A few other places that I did this that are not as noticeable are that area with buttons to on the left of the wheel and the rear cup holder. The pillars are where I used the wrap that I had. It’s not possible to see in the picture but what I did to add a personal touch is finish the edge with a small strip of black & pink zebra print and then black glitter ribbon to complete the transition into the full pink.

My favourite mod this year was the set of old Protege side skirts my Dad and I macgyvered by switching which side they went on and adding 2 inches in length to on fit Vixxxen. Neither of us had really worked with fiber glass before (and I must say I’m not sure I ever want to again lol) but it didn’t matter because the main goal was just for us to do something creative together. After 3 weeks of my Dad being a worry wart and stressing out that the project may not end successfully it actually did and everything finally came together just in time for MoM. I also learned that working with vinyl wrap is something I really like doing, so I also did a few chrome deletes myself.

On a sappy note, I would really like to thank everyone who has been kind and supportive…everyone who instead of shaming my not so perfect mods, has made it a point to commend me for taking the risks. You all are lifesavers…you really are…xoxo
