lovin my new 3!

Hey everybody, I've made a couple of posts on here already, but never an introduction.
Bought my new 3 sport gs in celestial blue about a month ago and am using every excuse I can to be in my car!. I put on about 600kms this weekend alone!. I find this car amazing at higher speeds like hwy 15 when it gets twisty I'm keeping my speed up just to feel how well it hugs as you round the corner
I also pulled out to pass on hwy 15 and the moron I was passing floored it just to be a dick, so I put it to the floor and swear I felt the tires break loose a bit when it dropped down gears (needless to say his attempt was unsucsessfull!) Havn't done any mods really yet but hopefully in the near future!, so far 20% tints all around, 10" bazooka bass tube, and aftermarket gps. I've found so much usefull info on this site and am anxiously awaiting my TM3 plate covers I ordered. I'm in the Kingston area so if you see a blue sport gs with tints and TM3 plate covers it's proboubly me!

Glad your enjoying the ride. I was the same, found any excuse to take the "new car" for a drive. Just take it easy with the racing, too many accidents end up happening by doing that kind of crap.

Thanks all, was far from racing though, I was almost passed him when he stepped on it so I figured it was easier to continue my pass rather than brake and try to "reverse" enter traffic! , And the speed through the corners was never excessive, just much faster than I could have done it in my old 98 Jimmy (which felt like a pirateship through turns!). Interesting how people speed up while being passed though, I have had it happen MANY times. Some sort of passive aggression thing maybe?

Just installed my JBarone short shifter plate and bushing - shifting is so much more fun now!

+1.... I installed my JBarone SS & Bushings about a month ago. Soooo much better. Change tranny fluid to MT-90 to make it feel even better.

yup my lease ends soon and i'm returning it... mine is a 2006 GS sports package

i have General Altimax Arctic 205/55/R16 91Q used the past 2 winter seasons (which i was quite disappointed for the winter that just past, they were just on for 3 months...) has 8mm tread left... and already mounted ready to go on...

congrats on the new 3! i've had my 08 model for about 6 months now and i doubt anyone loves their 3 as much as i do! i love it more each day. starting to do quite a lot of mods and i can't seem to stop, even with almost no $ left. speaking of which, i need start saving up for some winter tires
