    Default Intro from Newmarket

    Hey Everyone

How is everyone doing? I am ... Amanda I live in Newmarket and I drive a 1997 Mazda MX-6 LS. She has a little bit rust associated with dings but other than that, she runs and drives like a dream. I first became obsessed with Mazda3's when I was with Young Drivers of Canada. My instructor had one. What an awesome car, seriously. Mazda FTW!

The MX-6 is lightly modified, nothing major. Taking my time with everything, lots of research. Well, here is a pic or two and some of the things I have done to her. Oh and she has the usdm klde with a 5spd manual. That's right, chick with a stick.

    - Custom k&n short ram intake
    - Custom shift boot w/ cf shift knob
    - magnaflow muffler w/ custom painted tips (black)
    - cross drilled & slotted rotors w/ raybestos pads
    - falken ziex 912 tires w/ 16" probe gt rims (painted satin black)
    - v6 badge delete
    - emblems painted satin black
    - tinted tails

I am waiting for my 6000k Hid kit to come in, I am picking up my dual angel eye's tomorrow afternoon.

I am always up in barrie on thurs. night for the northern tuners meet, I seldom go to shows just because I find them a little boring now to spectate. I will be attending MOM

    Ciao.

Thanks I plan on going with a eventual full black conversion. It's hard to find mx6 front seats, black that are in good shape. Haven't had any luck so far. I did the dash and center console myself, so far it's been holding up. The rear seats and panels are black already, the floor and headliner will be black next year. I went to Nextmod last week and sat in one of those Recaro racing seats. So I might just replace the stock ones with leather recaro's down the road. Love your 2010 Mazda3, I wasn't fond of the design at first but they have really grown on me

Thanks! I'm in the process of blacking out my interior as well. I just don't understand why Mazda had to go with beige pillars and headliners, they're so ugly and tacky with black panels.

I completely agree. I swear the tan shows off the dirt worse than the black would. The black conversion for your car will be sick, White & black.. ftw.

I just recently hit 234,777. Just starting to break her in. I did a top end rebuild in 2008, about 60,000kms ago.. so the motor is darn strong and extremely reliable.
