Jeff is connected! (or the seller reads this thread)

Just kidding. Sometimes things are fast and sometimes there is just no rhyme or reason.

So here is the installed products, but the LED's are brighter than in the picture as I had them tinted prior to install. The total installation wasn't bad, fitment was perfect, but had to figure out how to rewire them so that its with the DRL's only, otherwise it would be on constantly.

They will stay off. Had to customize the wire so that it only turns on when the DRL's are on. The wiring that is provided is meant from them to stay on constantly.

I havent had time to experiment..

What does that box do? is it meant to step down the voltage?

I believe so. Its called a control box on the sheet and which I think it means a relay box lol.. but you definitely will need it for the install.

I was planning to just wire it directly to the DRLs..

but I need to know if the box is a step down or a relay

These use superflux style LEDs. Are the bright enough for DRLs during the day...say 40 meters away? I wish they made something for the speed, i would replace the LEDs as I don't think 5 of these a side are going to be bright enough.

Their pretty bright for what there used for. Since its DRL, I don't expect to get much distance with them as I would with my main headlights/fogs. Just to remind everyone, the pictures below aren't true since I got them tinted before installing them. Ill try to take a night time picture.

    Uhh...?

I know you can trigger them at night by manually disabling the headlamps, but doesn't taking a picture under these conditions kind of defeat the point of wiring them as daytime running lights?

At any rate, if you could take a picture during the day a good distance away (maybe 40m, as kenghk asked) it would be appreciated!
