Default replacing the suspension on 2011 2.5

the suspension on my car is feeling weak

the alignment is off and there is lots of play in the steering when i take turns aggreessively.
mid turn, the tires feel like they are floating and feels like there is no input from the steering.

im waiting on my brakes to arrive before i have a look but even then im not sure what to be looking for.
the car has around 180,000km and im pretty sure the suspension is still all original.

i have been budgeting for new shocks and struts. but should i be budgeting for more? control arms? bushings? sway bar links?

also im looking for shocks and struts that will offer a little more performance but not crazy $$$. any suggestions?

@Frank the Tank well for starters i would get someone to check it and see what you need before you guess at what you should save for

I agree, but take it to someone you can trust or you might get ripped-off bigtime.

    Where are you located exactly?

Before you start adding , as Booter & Flagrum said, get a good inspection done.
Before you add figure what you want your suspension to feel , sporty, track like, harsh, lowered , for summer only...
I wanted a tarck car that i can also daily drive.
I added coilovers , larger swaybars (you need beef you endlinks if you do larger swaybars, learned the hard way), front tower strut, lower front strut.
Im looking at stiffening the rear with rear trunk brace bar and a mid lower brace and maybe then silicone bushings.
One upgrade leads to another ... be prepared to spend.
It keeps going ...Then it maybe larger rims/ stickier tires for better grip...now you your thinking you need more power.
    I think i maybe addicted....
Maybe we should start a therapy thread ...lol

this is a daily, winter driven, no track days, may do 1 or 2 autocross runs, driver
im not looking into getting coilovers, maybe a front strut brace and lowering springs (something that will help keep it more planted cause it feels like the front end will give out on quick turns/on ramps/off ramps, especially left turns)
i just got some michelin pilot sport tires that i will be putting on the oem rims (this car came with 16"s, im not sure why it did but i dont want to invest in larger aftermarket rims)

i sometimes work nights so i like to go for spirited fun drives late at night when there is no traffic so i wanted an oem quality suspension setup but with somewhat more performance

Myself I go to Tech Lan Auto in Scarborough. Kennedy just south of Ellesmere....Its worth the drive, as they do good work at very reasonable prices. They also back their work 100%.

    300 Nantucket Blvd, Unit 6

    Tel; 416-642-0780 Cell 647-378-9242

    Ask for Harold or Jeffery.

I've been going to them for all my work for years now, they replaced most of my suspension when I was at around 250k and some other parts afterward. They know Mazda's pretty well.

    - There's also Jimmy who many here have used happily, but I can't remember the contact info or location, maybe someone can chime in on that. @SFW?
