got some new tires. hankook v2s for my summer wheels. didnt need anything fancy but wow were my old tires loud these new tires are so nice. haha my wife goes oh the engine is so loud now.. no baby its always been that loud you just couldnt hear it over the tires.
Washed it, cleaned the rims, forgot to do that when I put them away last year. Getting Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's put on Thursday.
Came home yesterday to my fiancee's 3 having a blown off A/C line, that was a fun phone call. Had the line extra laying around at work, so I have to swap that out soon and recharge the R-134a.
Had all those apart back in November, when I changed the manual climate control for the auto climate control, and it was fully charged, and yesterday it just decided to pop off while she was driving.

@Reddie1337 -You missed a couple spots, but she's look'n good. I bought the Michelin PS AS3's couple of years ago, really enjoying them.
That's pretty weird that line popping out like that though.

100% it’s weird it popped out like that. Not something I’ve seen before. Especially since it’s been on there fine for more than 6 months. I’m wondering if the retaining ring was damaged when we removed the lines and just failed yesterday.

Took it to Budds' last weekend for the 6-yr/144K service (even though I'm at 7 years and 83K), tire rotation, oil change, and fuel injector cleaning.
RVRs are great cars and their OEM batteries are fine. My dad got nearly 6 years of stock battery out of his 2011 RVRs, just to counter your anecdotal evidence.

Generally tire rotations and oil changes are fairly reasonably priced at dealerships. I stopped going to my dealership for service after the warranty was up. Cost a lot of money for the other bigger repairs.
My 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander is still on its OEM battery. Added some distilled water to it a few years ago and still going strong.

So, on the weekend I decided that a tank of Premium fuel every 4 days was too expensive, and I decided that I needed some more old school Cavalier in my life, so I spent a whole $406 on buying and making this thing drive decently.
It’s got all the nice speed holes in it, it’s got 302k on it, and it’s a great little car to drive around. I owned a couple Cavaliers before my Mazda, I’m familiar with it, and pretty cheap so far.
Not pictured, my speed, because it stayed at work for me to drive that home.

More like last week... Changed RMM then painted my wheels
Found some issues with the car. Clamp on ewg was too big = leak, positive terminal clamp on battery was stripped = wires were loose, bov was leaking at base = need gasket. 2 hours later all fixed.

Review of 3M headlight restoration kit on my parents 2010 Legacy yesterday & then used the remainder to do my car as well.
It's hard to see from the first picture but the headlight looked much worse in person and was pretty foggy.
Mask, 500 grit sand, 800 grit sand, 3000 grit wetsand, polish using rubbing compound & wax to seal.
This kit works well for 2 years, then the lenses begin to go fog/yellow again. I would recommend it for the good instructions, good price on Amazon and the results speak for themselves. You just need a drill, microfiber cloth and extra tape with it as the supplied roll is quite small.

Have a clunk on initial acceleration so swapped the rear motor mount. Think the shoulder bolt isn't large enough for the Damond mount. Tried my old Cobb but still have the noise. Bought a Vernier caliper so I can do some measurements and get the proper bolt.
Ordered a new bolt from Mazda but it was the same one I already had. Ordered the the other one and it's also the same so not sure what bolt is shown in the Damond instructions.
If that's not it I'll be trying to figure out where it's coming from. Maybe a ball joint on the lower control arm...
At the cottage this weekend so it'll be a few more days until I can do more diagnosing.

Had @Reddie1337 replace rear end links, left rear shock, front shock mounts and bearings, spark plugs, oil change , drain catch can, and find a solution for my gauge pod tipping.
