    I've always liked the Meguires Hot Rims rim cleaner. Worked well for my rims in the past. Have ceramic brakes now so I don't have to worry about that.

    I have used iron X in the past, and was really pleased with the results. I still found the car needed a clay bar treatment afterward to get other contamination out of the paint, but the Iron X helped a lot.

    Iron-X is what you want for chemical decontamination. Make sure you don't do it in the sun and you rinse it off super thoroughly afterwards, because that shit smells foul.

    +++1 on this. This product is fantastic !! I literally swear by this product. You can get it from e-Shine. A few things to note on this stuff as far as usage is concerned;
    - ”how much do I need ?” You can do 1 mazda3 sedan using it liberally with 250ml. But since it doesn’t come in that size, grab up a 500ml bottle and you have plenty to spare
    Basic directions
    - wash car really well and dry
    - make sure paint is cool to the touch before using
    -do N O T let this stuff dry on your paint
    - spray liberally on paint with extra sprays on visible areas
    - let it sit on paint for about a minute
    - while solution is sitting on paint, use the large sponge (cut 1” squares with xActto knife into one side of sponge) and lightly run it back n forth over the paint and do this while paint is soaking. Do not rub hard !!!
    - you’ll know u have rail dust on car if the solution turns purple
    - areas where purple is darkest may need extra application after first rinse
    - once car has been caressed with sponge, rinse off thoroughly....and I mean THOROUGHLY (be sure to rinse well around trims, badges, chrome trim areas, roof rack guide rails, etc)
    - dry off car
    - proceed to the clay stage as per S.F.W recommended
    Any other ?’S shoot me a pm and I’ll help you out
