    COBB FMIC

    Projected Release
    • May of 2008
    • First batch of piping done.
    • First batch of cores are here.
    • First batch of silicone and t-bolt clamps done
    • Brackets for power steering cooler line are in production.
    Projected Features
    • Removes restriction and heat soak present in stock or aftermarket TMIC's.
    • 3.5” thick, 24” wide, 7.8” tall bar and plate core that was selected from several cores to that we actually have tested to have the most heat transfer, least amount of pressure drop, and still allow good flow to the radiator/condenser.
    • Standard polished endtanks with natural silver finish core.
    • Aluminum piping properly sized for the application powder coated a subtle anthracite finish.
    • Blue Silicone couplers.
    • Made to fit stock BPV or aftermarket BOV that is stock fitment.
    • Retains stock bumper beam and does not require cutting the bumper beam.
    • No cutting of the bumper fascia required except one small tab on the inside that is not seen. It has been a while, but the tab that requires removal is either not used or holds something that gets slightly relocated.
    • We recommend professional or experienced installation as the fitment of the pipes needs to be specific to clear all places of the chassis/engine/transmission.
    • Undertray can be reinstalled with no modifications. (we consider this important as undertrays actually help air getting out of the radiator as well as some slight measure of protection.
    Pricing
    • Not yet set
    Source

EDIT: Just noticed it's not specified lol

    No info yet.

Just realize everyone that there is no Pre-order list going on..... Pricing is unknown at this point, and I wont be able to figure it out until I get all the shipping and customs costs.

Once they are here and I have the costing it'll be first come first served

Just wanted to confirm that I will be having 4 of these imported in the next couple of weeks. Pricing is currently set at $995 USD in the states. I can't finalize my pricing yet, but it will be cheaper than you can import it from the US from, + you don't have to worry about clearing it.

Now of course, one of those is mine, so only 3 will be up for sale when they get here.

Don't start making a list, I'll only start taking reservations when I have pricing available.

    Thanks.

They all come with a COBB template so you can paint it no yourself if you wish.

there is no lag at all, zip, zilch, nadda and the power felt great. Vince has and intake and not a full tbe if i remember correctly... vs. a full tbe, sri and cobb stage 2 flash and his car felt just as fast if not quicker with the fmic.

his and mps's car also dynoed the same (actually vince was a little higher) so its not just speculation, the fmic works.
