So here's an alternative with detailed pics and even part numbers. Applies only for 04-06 Mazda 3's but a lot of the parts are interchangeable.

Hello as a new user, I have two questions. How can I get a service repair manual on line if possible for my sons 1995 Mazda Protege. Second, this problem with the car has stumped two garages and maybe someone can help me. The car idles okay but blows a fuse as soon as you drive it. This fuse operates the O2 sensor but when checked it works. It also runs into the main control relay switch and that has been been replaced and it still cuts out and blows the same fuse when driving. All wiring has been checked can anyone tell me what it might be from any of their own experiences. Many thanks. Gerry

Your best bet for a service manual online is to search for one. Other than that Canadian Tire should have a Chilton manual that covers that year Protege. For the O2 sensor, are you putting in a factory one or a universal aftermarket unit? I\'ve had a few customers in the past with a similar problem who installed the cut/splice O2 sensors.

I believe that the 2.3L engine is denoted by (LF) in this manual.

The (ZJ, Z6) looks like a different engine - likely the 2.0L.

No the LF is the 2.0, ZJ is 1.4 and Z6 is the 1.6.

L3 is 2.3, i think this manual is for European and Asian markets.

I've been calling Mazda Canada from this past Sept for them to post the 2007 Mazda3 manual. Have they done so yet? Let's watch some paint dry.

I ended up going to Mazdausa.com and went to the owner's lounge after registering and got the manual.

I just signed up to see if I could get it. All I could find was the Owner's manual. Where's the service manual on that site?

I've ordered a hardcopy through Flipspeed already.

I just picked up the proper 2006 Mazda3 workshop manual (hardcopy). It absolutely blows away the online manual. Waaaaaaaaaay more detailed and way easier to follow. I also got the wiring schematics manual. (Thanks Flippy!).

As stated above by MZ3_GS, the L3 is indeed the 2.3. Here's a scan from the manual:

The main (phone book sized!) manual costs ~$90+taxes and the wiring diagram manual costs ~$19+taxes. Those are the club prices through Flippy.

All things considered, I was really surprised at how little these manuals cost. GM's manuals are way more expensive brand new.

Car servicing is a must that we have to do in order to identify if there is any problem and can rectify it as early as possible. Servicing will involve certain fitting and arrangement of any damaged parts, etc. Ensure to find the best car servicing near you, it is better to do a quick search on internet so that you can get the one as per your desire.
