Was zippin along lakeshore today when a nice guy honked and told me
my rear pass. tire was low on air.
Pulled over to the nearest gas station and found my rim sittin on the ground.
the tire was completely flat. I noticed o hunk of metal about 4mm accross
embedded near the edge, don\'t know what it is... how deep it goes,
but just below it, along the sidewall, i noticed a small bulge, like
the size of a ping pong ball. Sticks out just a few milimeters.
This is bad news isn\'t it?
man.... with a house coming up in March and a wedding next November,
i DEFINITELY don\'t have the money to replace the valve stem cap let alone
the $300 RS-A$$ !!!
HELP!!!!
Ray
P.S.
Will take donations :p

a bulge that looks like a tumor on the sidewall is an indication of a sidewall impact...:hoho

Like it was said... It\'s almost a $300 tire, I wouldn\'t expect anyone to give \'em away......

BTW, I\'ve heard that it\'s not really SAFE to just replace a single tire at a time, in case if ur car has relatively high milages on the rest 3 tires (say around 30k), coz the traction of those tires will not balanced to the new tire u changed since the thread has too much differences. So in this case, we have to replace at least 1 pair of tire at a time (either front or rear pair)!? :sarc

Nobody will get anywhere near that price if they try and sell \'em. With all the guys around here who have swapped out their 17\'s, nobody is willing to cut a deal and get rid of useless rubber???? Hell, Bluntman had 4 laying around and gave them away...
