I just got an e-mail from a friend who claims if you locked your keys in the car. You can call someone who has the other set, put the phone near the car, they press the remote to unlock the doors & it will actually work. HUH!?! Anyone believe this is possible?

Of course, this won\'t be useful for me since I lock my car with the remote, so it\'ll never get locked inside. Gonna try tonight anyways, just for haha

I remember reading about this before on one of those myth buster sites... probably Snopes.com if anything; it\'s not for real.

I heard this experiment on the radio more than a year ago. Broadcasting live, at first, they said it works, but then came back and said it did NOT work.

I got the exact same e-mail last night! I think its an urban legend.

There\'s no way you can produce radio wave frequency that unlocks your car over a Cellular Network, plus one side has to be able to receive that radio wave frequency and the other side has to be able to produce it.

Look up the frequencies of each item. They operate on two totally different ranges.
