Hey Guys,
Anyone plan on entering Importfest this year? I will be going with teamslipstream.com . If 5 Mazda3s go they will have their own category, but I dont see this happening.

I had actually looked into this before, but you require 4 Major mods in order to compete.

whats considered major??
I guess door sills won\'t count.. :)
But how \'bout... strut bar / sway bar / springs / Rims / CAI / Exhuast?
Couldn\'t find anything about minimal number of \"major\" mods but everything else about registration can be found here; http://www.importfest.com/05/reg.shtml

judging from the responses here, there will be less than 5ppl paid with Mazda3s... so no Mazda3 class.

do you think you could name 5 people on this board that have (at least) the 5 major mods needed to register?

if they consider my powdercoated stock rims, and upgraded tires as wheel package. Then I am almost at three(HID\'s should be in in about a week), eventually will be at 4(will lower at some point).
Beyond that, my car is still a daily driver..so many other mods, I don\'t think I would do...

I\'ve found the last few Importfest shows to be too ricey (they all are now). Less than a quarter of the cars are actually \"nice\" IMO.

i would think that STOCK rims powdercoated does not count as a tire package, BUT you never know.
And HID\'s prolly won\'t be considered a \"headlight conversion\", i think they\'re talking about trying to make another car\'s headlights work on your car (ie: you change the fornt end of you car to house Civic headlamps)

Wheel Package (Rims with Rubber) - CHECK
Engine Modifications - Simota CF SRI
Suspension - Tein Coilovers
Audio System - CHECK
Customized Interior - Shit boot, weighted shift knob, some paint etc etc
Custom Body Modification - Will be done
Headlight/ Tailight Conversion - HID Conversion
Vinyl Graphics - Some Small Club stickers
So I meet 5 :P. Little thin on engine mods, graphics, and interior work, but enough in other categories to get in.
