ok, so i\'m in an elevator last night, and some dude i don\'t know tells me he just filled up his tank at 94.5. when he went to pay, apparently the gas attendant tells him, at midnight last night ( or somewhere around there ) he would see the highest gas prices ever.

so im thinking...

1) this dude is weird, why\'s he talking to me
2) this dude is bigger than me, and im stuck in an elevator
3) this dude is nice, and he\'s giving me a heads-up.

anyways, on my way out, gas was still about 95 cents/litre. since i was at a quarter tank, i filled up. when i got home, i filled up the other car too.

just after midnight, as i was driving in the Kennedy/Finch area...sure enough , GAS WAS 119.5 and 119.6 across the street

anyways...just wondering if anyone else noticed those prices anywhere

I hear prices are pretty bad right now; I haven\'t checked myself. Pretty nasty, though I suppose I am getting my wish to some extent. Seing how I don\'t want to get my teeth kicked in by everyone, I think I\'ll keep this wish to myself.

I don\'t intend to fill up anytime soon... you see, I live a McCowan and Steeles, and I now work at Markham and 14th. So if anybody wants to come by Ostaco 2000 Windows, you\'ll see my car in all it\'s stock glory.

Basically, I can say this without much reservation: See you at the pumps in a month, suckers! :p

Gas siphoning thieves are back!
BTW! Anyone change or modify their driving habits.
I no longer go over 110km/hr on the highway and I\'m obeying the speed limit. My tires are slighty over inflated, I use the A/C, defrost sparingly and I granny shift. The bra is going on the car so I can Nascar draft also.

Sooner or later someone would post the following joke ... oh and I confirm like everyone else; yes gas price has sky rocketed; 119.6. It does seem like some people have left their cars at home these days. I\'m a bit surprised the hybrids are selling more lately; you don\'t exactly save money overall with a hybrid car (http://www.pulse24.com/Business/Top_Story/20050826-002/page.asp).

http://joek.com/jokes/joke_37.shtml

A small guy goes into an elevator, looks up and notices a huge dude standing next to him. The big dude looks down upon the small guy and says, “7 feet tall, 350 pounds, 20 inch penis, 3 pound left testicle, 3 pound right testicle, Turner Brown.” The small guy faints.

The big dude picks up the small guy and brings him to, slapping his face and shaking him and asks the small guy, “What’s wrong with you?”

The small guy says, “Excuse me, but what did you say?”

The big dude looks down and says, “7 feet tall, 350 pounds, 20 inch penis, 3 pound left testicle, 3 pound right testicle, Turner Brown.”

The small guy says, “Thank God! I thought you said ‘Turn around’.”

Now at $1.33/litre, the gas-guzzling RX8 is now off of my desirables list. In fact, there are no more sportscars on my list too. No SUVs. Just fuel-efficient econoboxes.

At this rate, when the lease for the MDX is up, I\'m going to have to try to persuade the wifey to accept a sedan or a wagon...

Last night Sept. 1th, 11:30pm saw $1.339 at an Esso at Parliament and Richmond.

Holy #%#$ did Katrina cause that! Lucky I don\'t drive a Hummer H1.

gas prices were frozen at 139.4 ish all weekend long in Montreal. from Ultramar to Jean-Claude\'s gas and go.

as i was leaving late monday night, i saw 2 stations there at 114.9, with lineups so long, you\'d think they were giving it away.

so i figures, if its 115 here, its gotta be cheaper in Ontario. WRONG. filled up in Cornwall, at 126.5. just over a quarter tank left, cost me $55. as the toyota sienna to my left pulled away, his pump read $74 and change

shoulda bought a diesel
