How hard is it to do that???

It was relatively easy compared to working with a cellphone PCB, all the components on the dash PCB are spaced out nicely, the polarity already marked on the PCB

the harder part of the mod i think would be removing the original LEDs ( depending on if you want to keep the stock LEDs or not), one of the easier way to remove the LEDs is just the melt the LED itself and the rest of the LED will come off really easy

removing the LED without damaging it takes some time and experience, you can easily damage the PCB itself if too much pressure is applied

I would recommand playing around with old cellphone or similar before attempting on the car just to be on the safe side

WOW!! I\'m suprised the car\'s cluster and center console are all LED\'s!! I thought they still used the old bulbs that will eventually die in 6 years time...... Well I dont have to worry about it fading anytime soon then. IF I had time, i would make the whole cluster /center with white leds\'.

quick question. at what point in time do we void the warranty?

does this mod void our warranty?

Usually if a mod leads to a failure of an OE part or if the wiring has been tampered. Of course, the dealership must prove that that is in fact the case.
