Ok Folks,

I went on Saturday, thats today to get my tint fixed at FX/Auto. There were bubbles in the tints the first time they did it. Saw mypatpat there with his Pearl White sedan. The colour looks pretty good, he too was getting his tint done as well.

Well, just when I was leaving there was a brand new Toyota Sienna park in the back of my car and a Toyota Corolla in front of me. I tried to reverse and go around, but decided to not try to squeeze through. So, I thought ok, looks like the driver is going into FX/Auto for something quick because the lights is on. I\'ll just wait here.

All of a sudden I see this woman tap at my window, I opened the door and she tells me \"You hit my car\"! WTF?! And that she was stopping me from leaving.

I didn\'t hear or felt anything! at all.

I told her,\"thats impossible I didn\'t felt or heard anything at all\". But she was adamant I did something wrong. I was arguing with her that she had it wrong. I even crouch down to the front plate area of her car and didn\'t see a single mark, at all! WTF.

I even ask them, where was the damage.

She told me she heard it! and felt it - Must be a big hit. She\'s what some of you have categorized as a \"Mahjong Mom\" with a teenage daughter beside her. This was definitely absurd and surreal, and it made me very angry, that someone would accuse me of this.

The husband was going to call the Police, and I told him to go ahead.

We took it to Markville Toyota around the corner and had one of the technicians there take the plate off, the mounting bracket off. And guess what, NOT even one mark. Nadda, Zilch, Zippo, nothing it was just like brand new bumper. Nothing, even on the clear plastic protector that\'s in front of the plate.

With a hit that she felt and heard, there was not a mark on the clear plate protector or a crack in the mounting bracket at all! Then, they decided to \"let me go\" WTF! I told them I didn\'t even touch the car.

I got her license plate down and I talk to the Manager on duty, and explained what had happened. Just in case she gets absurd and surreal again.

I think what had happened, was that when I tried to manuveur around the Corolla, but decided to stop and wait. She assume that something happened, and rather take a chance, decided to accuse me of something bad, just in case.

I\'m just peeved right now, and sorry to have to rant here.

if you did hit her craprolla... her plates would have had some kind of damage weather a scatch on the letters or a dent...if she had the dealers frame around or a cover, it MUST have cracked...

not to worry about it, there will always be pplz like that on the road. I hate those type of pplz too, its the same pplz that blocks you are the gas stations thinking you are trying to cut the line and they don\'t think about your door being on the other side.

It was the owner of the Sienna that accused me. The sales woman was driving the Corolla.

The plate was not mounted evenly either, it was a little crooked which the technician admitted he done. Because the plate didn\'t fit the bracket perfectly. Holy Crap, I was about to explode man!

Total utter stupidity on their part, not a shred of common sense or decency to admit they\'re wrong.

Well that sucks, but at least it turned out \"okay\". Just sit back and relax, some people are just like that, nothing you can do.

I can\'t imagine the woman\'s look on her face when the mechanic show her there was no damage. You shoulda ask them to goto the collision center with you and see what the Police have to say about her \"damaged\" car.

On a side note, I\'ll be heading back to FX on Monday morning...I have 2 big bubbles one each on the front passager and rear driver window. Not to mention the terrible job on the sunband, apparently they drew on my windshield with a marker to fill in a gap between the film and my mirror. Not exactly the superb job I read about on the board

Anyhow, it was nice chatting with ya today.

I am just curious. Did she WASTE any $$ on letting the dealership check up her car? If she did, it would be a wonderful day for her! :D

yeah you should sue her!! She took time away from you that you\'ll never get back!!! haha. when they \"let\" you go..you should have said no no im not finished with you and just wasted their time.

Well, I can\'t exactly sue her. But I would like to.

But definitely Ranting about it helps. The Sienna was a beige gold colour, and you can\'t miss her. She has a facial mark the size of a quater on one of her cheeks and wear glasses.

It turned out in my favour and the Manager heard about it. Even the technician saw the bumper and he said right away, \"You can go\".

Glad to see there was no damage but you were safe to even begin with.....

even if she called the cops, they have no control over the situation.... your car and her car was in a public parking lot. Cops don\'t deal with those type of accidents, they say to just deal with it with your insurance. With that being said I think she had a bad day and she wasnt paying attention and assumed she heard her car hit.......or the seat might have accidently shifted back or forward. That might have made her think she was hit.

Another reason she might have been trying to scam you. With seeing her all freaked out you might have given her information and she could have made it look worse. Good to see it didnt go that far.

thats my 2cents :P
