listen i got offered a promotion to go to Ajax. I have to let the guy know by tommorow. does anyone live around there? anyone know places to live but not too expensive? i\'ll be working at the new casino there building in ajax so hopefully someone could help me out with the area. i could commute but would perfer close to the place since my winter car isn\'t very reliable. if anyone could give any usefull info that would be great since i know nothing about the area other than it\'s 4 hrs from my place. There are vacancies in a few of the high rise apartment buildings along Hardwood. However, if I were you, I\'ll look at renting a basement apartment since you would not be signing a long lease and can go month by month. There are local newspapers available in any of the libraries in the area. You can try the Pickering Library next door to the Pickering Shopping Mall. I\'m sure the library staff will even help you . Ajax is between Pickering (West) and Whitby (East) ; you really have a large area to look and all within 10 minutes drive to your work.

I dont know what your looking to spend, or what time frame your looking at staying for etc. I live in Pickering (5mins away from Ajax), and my GF lives iin Ajax so I know the area well. I have also looked into new houses out there, as I want to buy in about a year an a half.
