Ipod Battery

Has anyone experienced problems with the Ipod\'s battery? Was there a recall on this awhile back? Can I get it replaced? I own an Ipod Mini and I recently hooked it up to my HU with an adapter that charges and plays the ipod. However, after the second day of hooking my ipod up to the adapter it has stopped working.

Any suggestions on what I should do or what the cause of the problem may be? I\'m doing some research right now but have not come up with a solution yet. Help me please! :D

I don\'t know about a recall on the Mini, but I know there was some talk a while back on the 3G iPods. Check www.ilounge.com for more information. I never bothered with sending back my 3G, I just bought a new battery for it and replaced it myself. Give Apple a call, my coworker\'s 10 year old son recently returned his Mini to Apple for some reason and she said that their customer care was excellent. Worth a shot!
