I have a 2005 mazda 3 GT and this may be a stupid question but umm.. I just want to know how do you get the intetmittent mode when using windshield wipers. I know pushing up makes it wipe once, down is automatic mode, down once more is continuous..so how do u get intermittent?

On the 2004, it\'s...

- 1 wipe
- off
- intermittent (remember to use the \"selector ring\" to change speeds/sensitivity)
- 1st speed
- 2nd speed

what about the 2005 model? there isn\'t a \"selector ring\" from what I can recall.

If your car is equipped with automatic wipers, then you don\'t have intermittent!

Auto is an upgrade from intermittent. In your case, Auto replaces Intermittent

My girlfriends 3 has the auto wipers and intermittent and it\'s a 2005. On the ring selector you can either select the auto setting or an intermittent speed. For the auto to work the actual main setting has to be set to auto, along with the auto setting on the ring selector.
