i think the rims have too many spokes to be taking off teh door moulding...it looks odd...

If the rims are not gonna be the exact same colour of white as the car, I think it\'ll look strange. You could powdercoat them perhaps. Regarding the molding....I think it looks good either way.

Pull the moldings and paint the calipers gold. I think the yellow is just too bright.

+1 for the rims. Maybe if there are less spokes and the spokes are bigger then it\'ll look nice. And also pull the mouldings. Try a few colors with photoshop for your rims.:)

Not a huge fan of white rims on white cars, definately pull the mouldings,

As for the brakes, anyone know if Brembo are planning to make some for our car. I LOVE Brembo....

I did a search and came up with no conclusive answers, just covering my ass in case I get majoogled..:p

the yellow caliper is from scooters car... :p I dont think he\'ll do it yellow.

definately, the rims will look pimp. riding 19\'s kobe, giovannas... never mind the spokes, the name alone will cause chicks to drop their pants.

white on white looks fresh. gonna be off the hook.

Which is why I don\'t understand why someone would buy it. All it takes is one dented rim from that set of four to make Vasco buy a new set of rims. With 19\"s on a 35 profile tire in the GTA...its only a matter of time unfortunately.

What a coincidence..........all the people pushing for the sale of these rims happen to be members of TOP and likely friends of the seller, while those who are not biased are saying be weary :sarc

Just lookin\' out for one of their own. Just like we are.

It may look pimp on the car but once you hit that first pothole it\'s bye bye bling and hello ding!:p

We\'re just sharing our opinion on the rims since we\'ve seen these in person at shows and meets...i think the sale already went through before this thread was up.

That\'s fine and I understand, but I\'m just pointing out that the TOP members are just saying stuff like buy them cause they\'re cool, while the other members are more looking out for the guy.

this thread is getting gay, quick.

the ride \'comfort\' is no different from the 17\'s... but I mean we\'re saying they\'ll look pimp.. and a pothole is a pothole.. no matter what kind of size rims you have, if you hit it just right.. bye bye anything.

If you drive like a maniac, anything is bound to happen. deal went through and he\'s happy with the sale no need to rag on the poor guy for doing 19\'s. the first person to post \"watch out for potholes with 19\'s\"... ok fine, be done with it. No need for every other post to say \"OH, man your shit gonna be wrecked\"... nice work on making the guy feel better about a purchase that\'s already done.

Just agree to say \"i wouldn\'t ride 19\'s cause i don\'t know how to watch the road ahead of me\" and be done with it. move on, grow up.. and get over it.

Sorry buddy, but this is wrong. Chances are with a slimmer profile tire, your ride comfort will go down. Do I know what I\'m talking about? Sure...I have 18\" RX8 rims with a 40 profile tire. When I switch back to 16\" snow tires the ride comfort is MUCH better even at a high tire pressure. Yes you are right, a pothole is a pothole. All we are saying is those rims are custom, which means that when they dent, he\'ll have a hard time getting a replacement.

I understand you are vouching for a fellow TOP member and rightfully so. However, let\'s not mix up the facts of low profile tires and rims to make your fellow TOP member look better. It is what it is, right? :sarc

chances - agreed, cause it may OR may not....

i was referring to aftermarket 17\'s and not 16 winters. let\'s compare apples to apples. I don\'t ride the 19\'s on a daily. but we were always amazed at the fact that scooter uses these as a daily driver. and he\'s stated time after time that it\'s not much different. I\'ve taken a ride in his car and felt these \'wrong\' facts for myself.

let\'s not get confused here, I said \"they are not \"MUCH\" different\". I did not say they are identical. take it how you wish.

where and when did I say buy them cuz they\'re cool??? I was going to buy them off Scooter actually. But, unfortunately too broke to do so.

I think those 19\'s are pimp!
