no offence dude, but get outa that deal... Pyle is just that, a pyle of shit. A couple of buddies have had these and I was not impressed. Go for a Xenarc or Lilliput. Both have strong support and reputations, and are also cheap :) I got a 7\" Xenarc for my project.:D

Can I ask how much? You can pick up used Xenarcs for a couple hundred bucks bro. If you sell the pyle before you use it, at least you\'ll get a bit more for it bro, then grab the xenarc or lilliput. ;)

it cost me $150CAD all done...of course the brown UPS will charge me duties coming across the border...
contact me on msn, or let me know about prices wiht xenarc...the more help the better appreciated, as i am gettin into unchartered grounds with this myself...only thing im realli not into the touchscreens...more stuff to go wrong in my mind


thanks for the heads up none the less, its nice to see somebody care and to hear an outside opinion on things...grant it, it won\'t get used much...it prolly be good for what i use it for...but as i say...good to hear outside opinions...any opinions on dvd reciever decks???

From what I read they are. Both Xenarc and Lilliput have a good rep in the industry. I know with the Xenarc stuff, if anything breaks you can buy replacement parts fairly cheap. new housings (cases) are like $25USD and a new touchscreen overlay is like $40USD. Mine has a small imperfection, but I can go and buy the overlay, and its as good as new :).

So to answer your question about Lilliput, yes they have a good rep. I cant really give my opinion since I am still VERY new to all this.
