For a daily driver I would not recommend you go that high. Any road imperfections and you can kiss those 20\'s goodbye. The largest I would go is 19 but that\'s still taking chances.

I\'ve seen Mazda3 with some 20-inch wheels/rubbers on internet. IMO, if your Mazda3 is a daily drive, you should upgrade your brake kit along with the 20s, for both performance & cosmetic reason.

On such a small car, I can\'t fathom why anyone would want anything bigger than 17\'s on the car. The rotational inertia on 20\" wheels will kill what little torque we already have on the car.

Might be a small car but it has big wheel wells. ALl the rims I liked and that I actually tried on my car (thanks CHEAP THRILLS!) they looked TINY. Especially when you\'re putting lower profile tires than the stocks. No way. 18\'s is the way to go and I wont even consider any 17\'s (but I stop at 18\'s). For exapmle look how awesome RX-8\'s look and they\'re 18\'s. They fill out the wheel well beautifully

SW20 MR2 is talking about preformance decrease.. sure 18s look nice and won\'t affect the braking/handling of the car like the 20s would.. besides.. 20s would require you to get some rubber bands for tires :sarc

20s just look so ugly anyways... why? I can see 20\'s on a 300... but on a 3?

rubber bands??? go bigger w/22\" and some smaller bearing, then using tank tracks, you\'ll get extermely high grip even driving at icy condition.:D

I agree with Mazda Kitten. 20\'s are meant for larger cars. not a 3, but that is my opinion. the larger the rim teh rougher the ride plus you need some sidewall especially if you are gonna run streets with some potholes. hamilton is the worst for that.

TO is the king of pot holes they are even on the highways.

P.S. I\'ve been to the Hammer it doesn\'t seem as bad with the repaving on main st.
