Had a pretty productive Saturday and thought I\'d share some pics.

First stop was at MOT to pick up a cargo tray from FLIPSPEED.

Then off for Rustproofing at the Downsview Krown.

After that it was off to Tires23 for winter tires.

Here\'s my 3 after Tires23 installed Semperit Ice Grip 2s with black steelies.

Some closer up pics of the Semperits:

I capped of the night by installing my rainguards in the comforts of my condo building\'s garage. Took me so long to figure it out, but I finally did it.

Wow, those tires look like they\'d be awesome in some deep snow! How are they on the dry roads?

should be...they\'re studdable (which means they\'re designed for snow first and their ice traction is improved with the studs) :)

I wish I could answer your question, but I\'m a total tire newbie. I\'ve got a lot of reading to do :D I\'ve only had my M3 for about a month, and didn\'t notice much of a difference on dry roads after I had the Semperits installed.

No worries. Make sure to do a review of the tires when/if we get some serious snow in the wheels/tires section!

Nice work, the snow tires look like they are out to grip some major snow. :)

I got a suggestion. I think you should get a spoiler for your hatch. Everytime I see a GS Sport, it just looks funny because its bald. :hoho Too bad Mazda doesn\'t put the spoiler on as part of the GS Sport package...it just looks wrong without a spoiler.

When I first got the ar I was dead set on adding the spoiler. From what I remember from FLIPSPEED it was $350-$400. I decided on getting winter tires instead. Maybe I\'ll do it somewhere down the road. From reading the Mazda3/Alexa forums, all hatches in the US come with a spoiler.

Hey Ry, I would wait till the speed 3 comes out. Maybe the hatch spoiler will be more aggressive looking.;)

I believe the car is in production soon but no other details have been announced. Mazda keeps things very hush-hush.
