A buddy I work with is a member to a Honda forum based in the U.S. where they did the filming (CA?) and they had a call out for owners with modded cars and all for the movie as extras for this movie.

So he mentioned to me that for one scene similar to the last one, all the cars race out of a rock quarry to confuse the cops or whatever. Turns out that due to have all these care driving around one antoher so close, they stoned chipped each other and that for the damage done, the money given (something like $150 or less to each car owner), it\'s a far cry to the amount the drivers need to repair their paint jobs.

And as said by others, great now a bunch of 16year olds now think they can drift....

I actually enjoyed watching the first one with Vin Diesel, after that it was all downhill. Looks like its more of the same with this one. The cars scenes are entertaining to watch, but the acting is just way over the top.

Thats not what I said. I said the first movie with Vin Diesel in it was good. I\'m not a fan of his acting, but that doesn\'t mean the movie sucked with him in it.

I just don\'t know...

Why is it White guy / Black Guy combo?/ Pretty lame stero-typing...
How can they be better at Racing/Drifting than the people who invented it???

and not to bash Japanese (or Asians) They are generally a closed, tight knit group (people). They would let a whitey just walk into their private drifting parties/races...

..like I said... I don\'t know.

I\'d watch it for the 350Z\'s :):):)

One of the biggest movies last year (Top 20) was Vin Diesel babysitting movie, The Pacifier. It was #1 in 9/10 countries as well for a few weeks.

This movie will be like a Shana Twain video, nothing will be lost if you watch it on mute.

We will all go and see it for the cars. That is unless \"you live your life a quarter mile at a time.\" :sarc
