sorry, no leads but just a suggestion..

how about working at blockbuster then?? you get 10 free rentals per week (even stuff that hasn\'t come onto the shelf yet; ie, employees get first dibs).. my friend works at one.. it\'s a good working environment..

Try Home Depot, they pay pretty good for a seasonal job.

Future Shop and Best Buy should also have some positions available that you might want to look at.

i think they take people for as little as 3 shifts a week,
so that is not just weekends, thought they demand i think
some weekend availabiity and some evening!

my buddy worked there during christmas a few years back!
discount is good, car audio is marked up like
500% or so!!!
so i hear anyways

well, i bought a digicam while he worked there
not car audio
lol

Not true, I used to manage a 2001 A/V for two years and can tell you that while car audio generally has the highest margins of the product lines typically carried, it was more like 40% and in some instances 50%, though that was not too common (usually just when trying to clear out old stock).

And before anyone asks me to hook them up with part time work at 2001 unless you can work full time they won\'t consider you, sorry. Even their \'part-time\' consists of five days a week, just fewer hours each day.

I\'m thinking about looking again for weekend work too. Thing about Future Shop/Best Buy - don\'t make the mistake I did - online I did their application and one question they have is (think it\'s the last one) your availability - being the honest fool that I am, I answered weekends only (something to that affect), which after hitting submit, it said I didn\'t fit what they were looking for. Better to chat it up with someone there and then apply.
