I noticed that my stills aren\'t sticking @ the top part. Is anyone else having this problem? Should i epoxy them to the plastic?

this may be due to the fact that you didn\'t clean the surface properly.. or the adhesive was crappy.. some people were ok with using sime \'duck tape\' (double sided one found at CT) so maybe give that a shot before you epoxy them

are u talking about the door sills which were bought from ebay?? if so, then apply some cement glue to the sticky foam things on the door sills.. that worked for me..

if that\'s not what u\'r talking about then just ignore my post.. hard to do since u\'ve already read it..

carry on..

It was cleaned properly if i did\'t the whole thing would come off. I think the adhesive was crap.

Those are the ones. What cement glue did you use?

I had the same problem, I used \"liquid nails\" double sided tape. Make sure you do it on a warm day.

Redraptor did a great write up here (http://www.bozzak.com/mazda/viewtopic.php?t=73)

this is key..!!! i did mine on a HOT day and they are still on.. i guess teh adhesive may vary from sill to sill.. i also think that double tape would be easier to remove if you were to get rid of them at some point..

I just went to Rona and bought some cement glue.. it says it can be used on plastic and stuff.. my sills don\'t even budge.. well, I think I kicked my driver\'s side front sill a couple of times.. it\'s a little looser than before but it\'s still not coming off anytime soon..

I used GOOP.... Canadian Tire sells it. Its like a very adhesive silicone :)

All I did was clean the surface with rubbing alcohol and then i used double sided foam tape that i bought from a dollar store and applied it to the whole sill.

The normal double sided tape is useless since its so thin. But if you buy those thicker ones that have foam inside (about 1mm thick) then you\'re good to go.

The double sided tape it comes with plain out sucks. I bought some good quality double sided tape from home Depot and used that instead. I removed the original tape that was on there. For the installation, I removed my original door sills, cleaned them up really well, and then heated both the original door sill and the double-sided tape on the new metal door sills using a hairdryer.
